Investing Principles that Women Should Know

Many women have the instincts to be good investors—instincts like researching before buying, diversifying broadly, investing longer-term, and limiting costly trades.1 But while women may have the wiring to be good investors, many are still playing catch-up when it comes to saving and investing.

Investing from the inside out is designed to help women gain confidence by linking their investments to their core values and goals rather than striving solely for a bigger return or beating a benchmark. This educational session puts the heart in the center of investing and helps women see how investing can help with what they care about most.

Participants will leave the session understanding:

• How investing has helped people build wealth over time

• How finding an “investing why” can help link their money with what they care about

• How to turn personal values and goals into financial action steps

• Best practices for investing with confidence

• Strategies to stick with a sound financial plan even if markets are volatile

As a group, women are running far short of the retirement savings they’re likely to need in their later years.2 This session will help them home in on an investing approach that’s both meaningful and smart.
